Fat Edith on the old table out under the gum trees at the front of the house yesterday early evening.

We do a lot of al fresco living outside in this space.

It’s spring here and daylight saving time has arrived. We turned our clocks forward a couple of weeks or so ago.

The weather was perfect on the weekend and great this week thus far.

T’was a gorgeous quiet evening yesterday when I captured Edith.  We were sitting outside under the trees with only the putt-putt of a tractor in the neighbouring vineyards in the background.

Don’t you just love the way the cats make themselves at home wherever, whenever. Fat Edith is a brown tortie Burmese, the fattest, chubbiest, lovingest cat on the planet who does what Burmese cats do: talk, relate, be ‘human’ and a part of everything we do – if we let her! I just want to squeeze her.
